Sunday Best

Here's an outfit I wore to church a few weeks ago. I bought the dress at a thrift store for around $8. I'm so cheap frugal that I consider that to be a little on the pricey side for a thrift store. I know I should be ashamed of myself, but I'm not! In actuality it was a great deal. Besides, it's color blocking, which is on trend right now so I couldn't leave it.

Great minds...

This month's Everybody, Everywear is color blocking. When we met up to take pictures in our color blocking outfits, we realized we had chosen very similar looks! We both decided to go with pink and purple hues. We both wore colored skinny jeans and heels with lace up details. (The pedicures are only the same because Faith copied!) This is nothing new for us. We have a history of displaying twin-like behavior ever since we were kids. When shopping we show each other the same cute shirt at the exact same time, we say the same things, we think the same thoughts. We even send the same text messages! Great minds think alike.
 Classie wore:
shirt- thrifted
jeans- random mall store
shoes- old, can't remember
flowers- beauty supply
nails- by Classie (no stencils)

Faith wore:
shirt- thrifted
blazer- thrifted
belt- thrifted
jeans- thrifted
shoes- Baby Phat

See how everybody wore their color blocking here.

Red, White and Blog

We decided to have some fun with our 4th of July celebration. Hope you enjoy it. There are lots of pictures!
Classie is sporting a very patriotic meets nautical look. We love the anchor jewelry! Her jeans are from Walmart and the necklace is from H&M. Everything else was thrifted.
Classie's children, Cobie and Ivy are also sporting their patriotic gear. Cobie's shorts were thrifted and his shirt is from Children's Place. Ivy's outfit was thrifted head-to-toe. Speaking of toes, don't you just love her American flag pedicure!
No typical blog pics for Grace! She had fun trying to catch some red, white & blue popcorn in her mouth. Her shorts are DIY, the "Miss Independent" t-shirt is from Rue 21 and the shoes were thrifted.
What's more American than apple pie?! Faith repurposed a thrifted skirt by wearing it as a top. She added a belt to give it a peplum feel. Her red bodycon skirt is from Forever 21. The sandals & chain belt (worn as necklace) were thrifted.

We pray everyone has a safe and fun holiday.
